diving into the fix
Leaning into the goals, values and audience of Tania's Pizza, I was able to home in on their brand positioning, brand principles and tone of voice.

Using their previous logo as a jumping off point, I began by simplifying the bits that did not serve a strategic or creative purpose.

A logo suite was developed for use across many mediums relevant to Tania's Pizza: store signage, product packaging, social media, web, etc.

standing out
When starting this project, I did some research (as I always do) into what was the industry standard in branding for this category: Wedding Photography. Unsurprisingly, I saw a lot of pink, baby blue, wispy lettering and wedding rings.

I knew we had to stray far away from this in order to make an impact.

Fast forward: the bold, dramatic, abstract visual identity was created. By using a fat typeface, rich colors and hard lines Holly Rosebrugh Photography is able to bring a unique personality to wedding photography.

Once the branding was completed, I went to work on the website. Previously, Holly Rosebrugh Photography had a simple website that didn't do the brand justice. I had to change that.

The new website is bright and playful, but offers clarity on services and pricing while directing visitors to inquire.

You can see it live here!

flash photography
An important aspect to the visual identity was to make it cohesive with the photography itself. Because a wedding photographer is going to want to show off their photos, right? But we have to make it make sense.

For Holly Rosebrugh Photography, using the camera flash is a huge part of the photo style. So, I created a little flash shape to incorporate throughout the visual identity.

You can see it as a brand mark and as a graphic asset as well as tucked into the primary logo.
