They came to me letting me know this is the basis of their restaurant concept but wanted to shy away from a traditional wine bar look and feel.

The Ten South concept and tagline is: Toast Everyday. The idea that you don’t need to make a reservation to this restaurant just for a special occasion – it welcomes you every day and every day there is something to toast.
Bring a friend, relative or a colleague and have a few bites and drinks. Say “cheers” to getting through a Tuesday. Clink glasses just because. Ten South is here for you to celebrate simple, small, everyday things.
“Toast Everyday” is used throughout the branding to emphasize who Ten South is.

They came to me letting me know this is the basis of their restaurant concept but wanted to shy away from a traditional wine bar look and feel.
They wanted their members to know they are focused on serving wine but if you didn’t prefer a glass of red, you would still enjoy your time here.
I began to develop mood boards and ideas that were fresh and lively to invoke an approachable and welcome environment. The Ten South Primary logo consists of a classy, sans serif typeface intertwined with a handwritten script.
The design style takes inspiration from traditional wine bottle labels by layering stamps, handwritten notes and markings that bring depth to the brand.
